About
The human behind the prompts.
My name is Sajad Saleem. I describe myself as a mediocre generalist — a phrase that sounds self-deprecating until you realise it's the most honest description of how to thrive in an era of AI.
I'm not the best programmer, the best designer, or the best writer. But I'm curious enough to be dangerous in all three. And in a world where AI amplifies breadth over depth, being a generalist is no longer a consolation prize. It's a strategy.
Why Promptology
I registered this domain because I believe the 21st century's most important skill is the ability to think clearly and communicate precisely with machines. Not coding in the traditional sense. Not prompt engineering in the mechanical sense. Something deeper — a literacy of intention.
Promptology is my space for thinking out loud. It exists at the intersection of technology and humanity, where silicon meets soul. The three pillars — Silicon & Photonics, Steel & Sinew, Heart & Society — reflect the three dimensions of AI's impact: the digital, the physical, and the human.
AI for Good
The tagline isn't aspirational. It's a filter. Every thought I share here passes through a simple question: does this help us build a future that's better for more people?
I have children aged 8 to 18. They will inherit whatever world we build. That's not an abstraction for me. It's a Tuesday evening conversation at the dinner table. They ask me what AI is, whether robots will take their jobs, whether the future is exciting or scary. I tell them: both. And that the answer depends on us.
The tools
This site was built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Claude Code. Yes, the irony is intentional — a site about AI, built by AI, reflecting on AI. It's turtles all the way down.
If you want to reach me, you'll find a way. The internet is good at that.
